Back from Marah Johnson's class!

I went to Marah's class on Saturday. It was awesome. She is just a sweetheart and it's great to be around someone so creative. She had lots of techniques to share including, foiling which was really cool, using sticky 2's from CI. We painted paper flowers with luminarte spray which was like Glimmer Mist only 50 times more vibrant and has tons of mica in it. So shimmery!! CI has some really cool paper out that she shared with us. The first is plain and colored canvas in 12 x 12 sheets, we dyed it with the luminarte and Wow really intense color even on canvas. Second was a really cool banana leaf paper is some beautiful colors. (Above is the light green banana paper with some of the vintage paper flowers and some petaloo white paper flowers dyed with the luminarte. The ring is part of a book from the kit and it was plain white flocked paper from Marah's collection and we sprayed that too! I love how it looks. It's hard to tell her but the design really pops! I always come away from her classes totally inspired.
