Mixed Media Cards with the Silhouette Cameo!

After coming back from CHA and visiting Ranger's and Prima's Booths, which were so beautiful and loaded with tons of stunning art by design team members, I decided it was time to whip out all the inks, stamps, masks and have some fun!

I love mixed media projects, they are creative and you can try anything! I find I need a large block of time to create with paint and inks probably because I don't do it that much. plus once I get into it, I have a hard time stopping all the messy goodness. So I started these on Superbowl Sunday because I know everyone but me would be glued to the television. I thought i'd do one card, but like I said it hard to stop once I got going.
I saw these ballet Silhouettes in the Silhouette Store and I could just picture them on a bright mixed media background. I think they turned out really cool and the best part is they are cards! Yep, I welded two tag shapes together to make a tag card, perfect to send to someone special! I love tags but they always just sit in a drawer so, tag cards are my new favorite thing!! The wings, ballet dancers and tag can all be found in the Silhouette store. The stamps are Tim Holtz, Pink Paislee and Basic Grey. The flowers and bliing are Prima, plus some little flowers I made with card stock I cut on the Cameo. The mists are Tattered Angels.

And I have something else fun to share. I am participating in a BLOG HOP this Saturday with A group of other women who love their Cameo as much as I do! It starts Saturday, Febrauary 11th,  8am Eastern time. I will have a new tutorial and definitely lots more inspiration!

Hope to see you on Saturday
