My first day with my new Silhouette Cameo!

My sweet DH surprised me with a Silhouette Cameo machine for my B day on Saturday. OMG what haven, I can't say I really was that familiar with everything this machine can do. It is truly amazing I haven't stopped creating since I got it. First let me say that the library of shapes is HUGE, I mean like 20,145 images, huge.
This card is the fancy swirl card- you get two versions. I used Webster's Pages Country Estate, the B side is perfect because I love a print on the inside of my cards. The weight is nice too!

The other feature I am so impressed with is cut and print. This means I can make a die cut out of anything I like, you trace an image in the program and cut it out. This is a digital image from the Webster's Pages Digi store that I had downloaded a while ago, I printed it and then cut it with the Cameo and I was really impressed, I could never cut this out by hand, it's only 2". I can cut anything out, how cool is that!

Here are some more cards I did for my DD's teachers. This card is the flourished edge snowflake card and the paper is Prima North Country. My DD is in Middle school and she has 8 teachers, a few of them are male so I had to make them a mix of masculine and feminine. I think this paper collection is perfect for that! I was so thrilled that the Cameo can even cut out tiny little details on a 3" doily, my Cricut could never do that!

Hope you are having a wonderful holiday season so far and thanks for taking the time to visit!
