True Beauty

This photo was taken by Monica Teurlings last summer and it was about 105 degrees outside, my poor DD was a real trooper having a photo shoot in that kind of heat. I think this page is almost like a collage, the most important thing was keeping in the same color scheme using lots of teal, yellow and pink. When I printed my photo I really saturated the colors because my intention was to keep everything high contract. I started building the background in Photoshop with a huge teal sun by Rhonna Farrer Designs you can see the rays coming out the top of the photo and I added more layers with rub ons, sticker with lots of paper elements. The bird on wire is by Dusty Attic and I painted it with two shades of red and let them marble together. The flags on the bottom are wood veneer that I covered in paper.
